Abstract
Heuristic teaching refers to various methods taken by the teacher to inspire students to ponder in accordance with the objective law of learning. Through these methods, teachers can mobilize students’ subjective initiative and enthusiasm and lead them to gain and master new knowledge actively. However, the indoctrination has been used for a long time in primary school English classroom in China. After investigations and researches, I found that heuristic teaching is the most effective way. As one of the advanced modern teaching techniques, heuristic teaching could guide students to learn on their own initiative by inspiration and encouragement. Meanwhile, by embedding pedagogical activities into highly enjoyable interactions, learners’ motivation could be improved effectively.

Therefore, the key point of this paper is to explore the application of heuristic modes of teaching in primary school’s English classroom which is also the backbone of my paper. I pided my paper into five parts to interpretit. The first part is the overview of the heuristic mode of teaching, including the concept, the characteristics and the advantages and theoretical foundation of the heuristic mode of teaching, including the learning theory of constructivism and the instruction of constructivism to heuristic teaching. In the second part, I took a brief look at the learning problems in primary school’s English classroom and analyzed the reasons. In the third part, some methods are listed and analyzed, illustrating the application of heuristic modes of teaching in primary school’s English classroom is necessary. In the fourth part, some suggestions and principles are given to remind us of what should be noted in the application of heuristic teaching. The theme of heuristic modes of teaching is a remarkable point to be discussed in this paper. The conclusion of this paper is the application of heuristic teaching would become the mainstream direction in the present primary school teaching in China.

 摘要啟發式教學指的是在課堂教學過程中,教師根據教學任務和學習的客觀規律,從學生的實際出發,采用多種方式,以啟發學生的思維為核心,靈活運用多種教學方式,調動學生學習的主觀能動性和參與積極性,來引導學生達到對知識掌握和提高的教學指導思想。但由于長期以來,課堂教學“灌輸式”或者所謂“填鴨式”教學方法占據了主導地位。通過研究調查發現啟發式教學可謂是解決這一問題最有效的方法。作為現代先進教學手段之一的啟發式教學法,它引導學生通過啟示、啟發來進行自主的學習。同時,通過在輕松愉快的互動中穿插教學活動來有效地促進學生學習的動機。
